Cooking lessons are held at a beautiful custom built facility in the fabulously scenic Dentecala zone of Capri, just steps from the Piazzetta delle Noci and an easy twenty minute walk from the Piazzetta. Guests are welcomed in a large air-conditioned open kitchen furnished with modern appliances and ample work space for all participants. From the marble countertops to the gas stove, guests will find themselves right at home among the familiar and not so familiar tools of the cook's trade. An intimate dining area inside and a scenic open kitchen with pizza oven, grill and dining area outside complete the locale. Outside are over 2,000 square meters of gardens, vineyards and terraces that offer up the organic ingredients used in the kitchen. The gardens produces wine, vegetables, fresh eggs, conserved products, liqueurs and many other delicacies raised without chemicals or pesticides in the traditional manner. These exquisite products are sampled during the meals following cooking lessons, and students may even participate in their preparation depending on the season. Cooking lessons are based on traditional Mediterranean and Caprese cuisine, with emphasis on recipes and techniques that will enable students to reproduce dishes at home. All culinary and recreational activities are personally led by Capri Dolce Vita's Caprese and American owners, Massimo and Elisabeth Catuogno. Caprese chef Aldo Russo joins us on occasion to lend his authentic recipes and over 35 years of experience to Capri Dolce Vita's unique programs. Back
